Turn $100 Into $2000 In 60 Days Challenge – Week 5 Results

Well it’s the end of the 5th week of the 60 day challenge.

It’s been quite a challenge this week as I have lost the best part of 2 days due to other commitments but I have continued to put in at least 60 minutes a day driving free traffic through forum posting and blog commenting.

I am finding it pretty mind numbing and keep thinking there has to be an easier way. It’s hard to keep going when you can’t see results but I know that this can take time.

Dean is in the process of changing his affiliate platform too so we can track the optins that we get when we send traffic to his squeeze page which will be a great help even though it’s going to take a couple of weeks more to set it up.

It’s been very frustating not knowing what optins we got from of a particular traffic generation method.

When that’s up and running we will also be able to choose from a number of landing pages to send the traffic which could help.

Visualize Success

Make money on the web

Reading a post from another member of our challenge group about feeling the loss of momentum and worn out from blogging remined me about visualization.

Vision boards are great for reminding yourself of your ultimate goals. They are simply a visual representation or collage of the things that you want to have, be, or do in your life.

It consists of some sort of board on which you pin cut-out pictures, drawings or writing on it of the things that you want in your life.ย  Have you ever used one?

Pinterest has become a sort of vision board for some these days. You can keep your boards private so only you can see them.

Mind Movies

I was reminded too that every day I used to watch some Mind Movies that I was given as a promotion several years ago. Have you ever used them?

Mind movies is the concept of vision board taken one step further. It consists of images and text that inspire you or reflect what you want to be or get. You can add inspiring music or songs that bring out happy memories.

I have 4 of them that are a couple of minutes each and cover Family & Friends, Health, Money and Sprituality. I don’t know why or when I stopped watching them but I am going to start again.

This week’s resultsย

I haven’t got much to report this week. My traffic remains constant but 66.40% were new visitors which is good.

I have had a harder time trying to find posts and blogs to comment on this week and I am still waiting to get my 3 likes in Digital Point Forum so my signature shows. I keep wondering if I am I wasting my time here.

Solo Ad

Last week I mentioned that I had bought a 100 click solo ad on Safe Swaps to send to my squeeze/sales funnel.ย  The seller actually sent me 147 clicks and I got 55 optins which is not too bad a conversion.

I did not make any sales from my OTO or from the banners on my download page which included the one for the Quick Start Challenge so that was not so good. I may have to do some testing and tweaking here.

I can now of course build a relationship with them by giving them great tips and offers that will help them in their business.

Classifieds Ad Board

I received an email from another marketer about Frank Salinas’s Classifieds Ad Board so I thought I would give it a try. I gave up on classified ad sites a few years ago as they didn’t seem to work although some marketers on the Warrior Forum say they are having success with them.

Frank Salinas says his is different. With Classified Ads Board you can post 4 ads a day that remain valid for 30 days as a free member.

If you upgrade to a pro member you can post 16 ads a day which remain valid for 180 days. You get 2 premium ads and 2 Banners with 1000 impressions as well with some other benefits.

I will report back on the results of this next week.

Have you ever tried classified ads? What sort of results did you get?

  1. Hi Sandy,

Well done for sticking with it, even though it’s been a bit tough. I’m sure things will pick up somehow ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m interested to find out how you get in with classifieds. This isn’t a technique I’ve really considered myself, or know anything about, but it will be interesting to see your results.

  2. Hey Sandy,

It’s nice to be back in your post. Thanks for sharing another informative post to us. Visualization or a Vision is what a person, business, or company should have to pinpoint the direction they want to be with. It’s basically the first step for everyone: to have a vision. It what drives us to success and we shouldn’t forget what we want by envisioning it all the time right. Well, that’s for me right. Best of luck for your challenge.

    1. Hey Siegfried,

Don’t worry about it, I don’t mind at all. For some reason it happens a lot.

      Sandy
