Turn $100 into $2,000 in 60 Days Challenge

By

Now there’s a challenge! I do love a challenge don’t you? I’ve just finished Dean Hollands Quick Start Challenge and now I’ve just taken on this one.

make money on the internet

Following the huge success of the Quick Start Challenge I jumped at the chance to be one of Dean’s licenced partners. As part of the program to keep us all on our toes Dean has just come up with the idea of the “Turn $100 into $2000 in 60 Days Challenge”.

The idea is that we all spend 60 minutes a day following a daily plan that Dean will come up to generate free traffic to the Quick Start Challenge which will result in affiliate sales for us. The money generated from that will be invested in paid traffic.

Part of the $100 was to be spent on a domain name, website hosting, setting up a blog, and an autoresponder service if we didn’t already have one. That does not amount to $100 so I am not sure what the rest will be for yet. I already have this blog set up so I won’t even have to spend the $100!

I am looking forward to the challenge. I know I work better with a plan like this in place and with others in a group to encourage and inspire me.

The Quick Start Challenge got me focusing again on getting my squeeze/sales funnel finished and posting regularly to this blog for my IM niche. I had still been focusing on my health niche stuff which does take up quite a lot of time.

The only problem I see with this 60 minutes a day challenge is that my husband and I just arrived in Spain last Saturday for a 4 week break and he does not like me spending a lot of time doing “my stuff” on the internet even though he knows I can’t just leave it for 4 weeks.

Make money online

It is a business after all and the whole point of it was to make money online to fund our retirement so we can take off for weeks at a time and live the internet lifestyle.

Then, there is also the fact that I am hogging his laptop! I know what you are thinking. I should have my own.  Well, that’s my plan for next time we go away for any length of time.

He just got a new laptop as his previous one was showing it’s age. Our IT guy got us hooked up with Windows SkyDrive so I could access all my files on his laptop and with Intermedia so I could access all my Outlook email files as well. Handy at home too should anything happen to my PC.

I have great intentions of trying to find 60 minutes a day to follow the plan and I will be documenting my efforts and results on this blog as often as I can. Watch this space for more news and tips.

    Hi Sandy

That’s a great post, and what a great location to be doing this from. I’d just sit on the beach (if the weathers good!) with my laptop and get the best of both worlds lol!

Seriously, so much can happen in just 4 weeks so lets hope you can enjoy the weather, the spanish wine and put in your 60 minutes a day!

    Have fun
    Jay

      Hi Jay,

Although it’s sunny here it’s still winter although it’s a lot warmer than it is in the UK at the moment. The picture I posted on this blog post was taken this morning and as you can see the beach is deserted.

I certainly will try to put in my 60 minutes a day for this challenge but that in itself is a challenge as I have to spend more time than that on my entire online business.

    Hi Sandy,

This is so exciting, isn’t it? 🙂 I have to admit to being a little jealous at you being in Spain for a month! I speak Spanish but haven’t yet been to a Spanish-speaking country yet! That’s one of the the first things on the agenda once my business is fully off the ground 😉

The next 60 days are going to be awesome, I can’t wait to see how we all get on! And, of course, that will be just the beginning…. 🙂

    • Sandy says:

      Hi Glenn,

I took some Spanish classes for a while but I struggled with learning all the vocabulary. I can order food and drink in Spanish and that’s about all but hey what more do we want!

I am really excited about this challenge too and can’t wait to get going. It will take a bit of juggling while we are here that’s for sure.

The best of luck with the Challenge and I look forward to seeing how we all do.

    Hi Sandy,

I am so envious. 4 glorious weeks!

I am sure your husband can leave you alone for 60 minutes (lol).

Great post. The challenge sounds like something that anyone can do. It well be really exciting to compare results. I am pretty excited about it.

I look forward to reading your results review.

Have a wonderful time in Spain.Cheers,

    Dita

    • Sandy says:

      Hi Dita,

The problem is that it’s no just 60 minutes. That’s for the challenge but I also have to keep both my lists going. I am currently building an IM subscriber list and I also write a weekly newsletter for my detox list. Dodn’t forget the blog posts I write for both too.

I had hoped to catch up on reading some stuff that I bought recently on the WF and catch up on watching some IM videos. There is never enough time!

I will just have to see how it goes.

We are enjoying being here in Spain. The continuing cold in the UK was getting to us.

Hey Sandy, I never saw this challenge from Dean, maybe is a separate addition to the QSC training or maybe something entirely different.

But whatever the case is, I think it is actually a GREAT idea!

Going from $100 to $2000 in 60 days sounds interesting enough and if I could actually tell that to any of my friends, I’m pretty sure the majority would say YES to the offer.

I wish you all the luck in the world and enjoy Spain! 😉

    Sergio

    • Sandy says:

      Hey Sergio,

This challenge is something that Dean set for his group of Licensed Partners. It is a seperate addition to the QSC. I may have some more information on this soon if you know people who would be interested.

Thanks for your good wishes. We are enjoying the sun and warmer weather here already!

I can’t wait to follow up on the progress. Looking forward to great results with you.

    • Sandy says:

      Hey Olusegun,

I just rescued your comment from my Spam! Not sure why it landed there.
I hear you are having great success already. Hope it continues to build for you.

      Sandy

  6. Jerry Handy says:

Awesome post Sandy and hope you’re doing well in Spain. As Dita said, we’re a bit jealous that we are not where you are, but hey, somebody’s gotta do it. Hope you’re back soon and going hard at your IM niche.

Oh and I do agree that you need to have your own laptop (lol). Somebody’s gotta bring home the bacon. Right? Take care and hope you have safe travels back.

  7. Sharon Martin says:

    Hi Sandy

Great post and I agree also this challenge allows us to have a laser focus!

Love the picture too and have a wonderful holiday, 4 weeks of sunshine – must feel like being in heaven lol!

Looking forward to seeing your next posts

    Take Care

    • Sandy says:

      Hi Sharon,

That picture was taken that morning. Although it was sunny it was colder than it has been since we arrived and very windy. The only people on the beach were a group doing TaiChi!

They get many more days of sunshine here than we get in the UK. That’s why we love it here so much. Our aim is to spend longer here eventually. Part of the making money online plan.

      Sandy

  8. Matt Kendo says:

Yes! I too love a challenge! That is probably the biggest reason I’m doing this. I had a lot of free time last fall and I’m the type of person that’s more interested in teaching myself internet marketing than sitting on the couch watching movies or playing video games. Stay on it, you can do 60 minutes a day!

    Good luck everyone,

    Matt Kendo

  9. Adrienne says:

    Hi Sandy,

So obviously you did really well with Dean’s other course? I’ve never been through any of his but if you’re jumping into this then I’m pretty sure it’s worth it.

That’s very brave of you to do this while on vacation. You must have a very loving husband. Tell him we all said so and I’m sure that will help. 😉

Look forward to hearing how you’re doing and have fun in Spain. I’m so jealous!

    • Sandy says:

      Hi Adrienne,

As it’s turning out my husband is quite happy to sun himself on the patio while I beaver away on his laptop!

It is proving to be quite a challenge to do everything I want to do for this challlenge and keep all my other stuff going as well.
I do enjoy it though and I guess that’s why I do it. I’m beginning to think I am addicted!

Great post! I was definitely attracted to the title of your post. And I absolutely find it very interesting and very much challenging as well. I’m also sure you had a great time in that beautiful place. You surely had a lot of great memories from that place. Thank you for this post. I’m looking forward for more challenging post like this.
