It’s Father’s Day today here in Spain and a national holiday but the festivites started at the weekend with the Las Fallas fiesta.

What started as a feast day for St. Joseph, the patron saint of carpenters, has evolved into a 5-day, celebration ending with firework displays and “the fires”.

How To Make Money By Sharing

By · Comments (29)

make money onlineThis has got to be one of the easiest and fun ways to make money online that I have ever seen. I have just discovered LoyaltePays, a great  reward program, where you make money by sharing information products.

Sharing information online is not a ground-breaking concept but LoyaltePays is one of those ideas that makes you say “why didn’t I think of that”!

We all know that the Internet itself was built so information could be shared. When we come across something good, we often share it or talk about it. That’s what Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest are all about, sharing the things you like with your friends.

Would you believe that according to Zuckerberg in July 2011 Facebook users were sharing 4 billion pieces of information daily?

So, why not get paid to share?

With this program you make money by simply sharing ebooks, videos, infographics and even cartoons, which in turn will help you to build your own online business.

A couple of days ago I discovered that my detox blog was not loading properly so I decided that it would be a good idea to write this post about blog load times. It is important to have a fast load time as many believe that Google takes it into account when ranking sites.

By chance I noticed that when I typed in the URL of my blog into my browser all I got was a list of posts and nothing else. No theme, no header, no menu, no banners, no Google ads. It took quite a few minutes for the whole blog to appear. An absolute disaster!

Making money onlineWhen I first heard about Pinterest I could not see what all the fuss was about. Pinning pictures! Who’s got time for that? I had enough to do just trying to get traffic to my sites.

Then, I started hearing that Pinterest was the latest and greatest way to get traffic to affiliate products. I downloaded a few free ebooks and reports about marketing with Pinterest but I had more than enough projects on the go to even think about it.

Later I heard that Pinterest was clamping down on all these marketers who were spamming the site with their affiliate links but it was still good for getting traffic to your own sites.

I read in one of the books that you could get people on fiverr to create an account for you with ready made boards & pin. That sounded good to me and in the middle of last year I booked a fiverr gig that promised to create an account and pin at least 300 images related to my niche. All for just $5.00!

The seller got it all set up for me using a fictitious name. It looked great but because I had all these other projects on the go that took up mu time I never did anything with it.

Can you believe that it took me until the end of last year to actually get started with it? And that was all due to Non StoPinterest 2.0.

I thought I would write this quick post about how to hide an affiliate link with a php redirect script because I wanted to use it on Pinterest and could not find any really complete instructions for it.  Well, not ones that technophobes could understand!

I’ve only just got into Pinterest after buying NonStoPinterest ( read more about that here) and I had heard that Pinterest has clamped down on marketers spamming it with their affiliate links. This is what happened when it first launched.

In fact, when I tried to add an affiliate link, I had cloaked with Pretty Link,  to my image to promote an  affiliate product the system would not allow it. I asked in the NonStoPinterest Facebook  group and Chris suggested I could try a redirect using a php script and gave me some brief instructions about how to do it.
